Copenhagen, Denmark

Hey friends,

Welcome back to my page. If you are new here, I write about places that I travel to. And guess what I finally had a chance to travel a little bit. I managed to go on a 10 day trip to Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Each country will have its on separate blog and this one will be for Copenhagen, Denmark.

Copenhagen is the capital and most populous city of both the country of Denmark and the wider Kingdom of Denmark, with a population of 671.714 people in the municipality and 1.4 million in the urban area. The city is situated mainly on the island of Zealand with a smaller part on the island of Amager. Copenhagen is separated by Malmö Sweden by the Øresund strait. The Øresund Bridge connects the two cities by rail and road. Copenhagen became the capital of Denmark in the early 15th century. Copenhagen is the major economic and financial center of Denmark. The city’s economy is based largely on services and commerce. The city has some of the highest gross wages in the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copenhagen
